Job Brief
A repeat customer of CV Screen responded to our salary survey to ask if we could provide a salary benchmark for their Digital Project Manager role. We conducted some research and benchmarked the role at £48,000 to £55,000.
After internal discussions, the customer asked if we could present a shortlist for the role. This was an exclusive vacancy to CV Screen and required us to find candidates with experience of managing digital transformation projects. The candidate would also ideally have worked for a large complex organisation within the public sector and have Agile knowledge.
Recruitment Process
CV Screen set out a three-pronged approach to find candidates.
Firstly, we advertised on the leading job boards (Indeed, Reed, CV Library, Total Jobs and LinkedIn), we then also searched CV databases and focussed on large organisations such as the NHS, Universities and Councils. Finally, our Recruiter Licence on LinkedIn enables us to focus on candidates by the company size that they’re currently working for, this helped us to find candidates with the required experience.
We interviewed around twenty candidates for the role and narrowed this down to eight suitable candidates to present to our customer.
Nicole was one of five candidates selected for the interview day and she scored the highest on the interview matrix by some distance.
About Nicole
Nicole had previous experience of managing digital projects within the NHS and had Agile and Prince certifications.
She demonstrated experience of running projects from £500k to around £5mn and impressed with her ability to answer questions with relevant examples from her career.
The opportunity to help shape the digital transformation of a complex organisation was very appealing to Nicole and she had no hesitation to accept.
